Ottawa Royals Peewee (U13) to Play in New Regional League

The Ottawa Royals Baseball Club has joined a new league with four team in the Outaouais that will compete regionally. The teams in the new AA ARBEO will be comprised of the best players in the region at the U13 level. Dean O'Brien, coach of the Ottawa Royals Baseball Club U13 team said " This is very exciting both for the players and the development of baseball in the region" he went on to say that "without the travel to Montreal, this should make it a more attractive option for parents and players at this younger age group to consider". The season will be comprised of 24-28 games will be played at St. Rene, Mousette and Tauvette It is anticipated that the removal of the travel requirement at the young age, combined with the season long development and ability to play against quality competition will open the door to even more players trying out this year. Tryout registration is now open. Pre-registration is required to avoid disappointment and long line-ups to get your players tryout number.
